"CHAMPS INVITE" High School Team Camp
The 4th Annual “Champs Invite” will include Iowa high school teams competing against Illinois high schools. It is open to Iowa and Illinois high school varsity teams. There are bragging rights on the line this year as each team competes for their respective state. What a great opportunity this brings as you normally don’t compete against the teams right across the mighty Mississippi River. Sterling High School won the tournament in 2010, see below for past winners. Illinois high school teams lead the all-time series over Iowa high school teams 3-0.
Entry will be on first-come basis as space allows.

Grades Entering: high school for the 2011-2012 school year.
Location: Kehl Arena, located on the campus of Ashford University
Cost: $100 for entries postmarked by June 15, 2011.
$125 for all entries postmarked after June 15, 2011.
Deadline for tournament entry is July 22, 2011.

Format: The 8-team round robin format will consist of three pool play matches and one tournament placing match (at least four games guaranteed). Team seeding will be based on overall match record & tie breaking procedures. The tournament placing match will consist of one match based on seeding from each pool (1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, 5 vs 6, 7 vs 8).
Awards: The winner of the tournament will have their high school represented on the plaque that is showcased in the Ashford University trophy case.
