What: The 3rd Annual “Champs Invite” will include Iowa high school teams competing against Illinois high schools. There are bragging right on the line this year as each team competes for their respective state. The Champs Invite is for varsity teams only. A team plaque will be awarded for the winner. Four pool play matches will be followed by a tournament placing match. What a great opportunity this brings as you normally don’t get to play the teams right across the mighty Mississippi River. Fulton High School won the tournament in 2009, and Illinois teams lead the series 2-0. Who: Open to girls’ volleyball teams who will be entering high school for the 2010-2011 school year. Entry will be on first-come basis as space allows. It is open to Iowa and Illinois Varsity volleyball teams.
When: July 11, 2010 - All Day
Where: Kehl Arena, located on the campus of Ashford University
Cost: $100 for entries postmarked by June 25, 2010.
$125 for all entries postmarked after June 25, 2010.
Deadline for tournament entry is July 5, 2010.
