Aubree Rhoades
Assistant Coach
Rhoades officially joined her alma mater prior to the start of the 2011 fall campaign in the capacity of an assistant coach for the Saints' volleyball program. She assists AU Head Coach Micah Cewe in all operations of the program including recruiting, practices and game-day preparations.
Rhoades, a native of Fulton, Ill., was a three-year starter for the Saints in her playing days, earning First-Team All-Midwest Collegiate Conference honors for two years. In addition, she was a three-time Ashford Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year and earned Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete distinction for each year eligible.
Rhoades ended her decorated three-year career (transferred from University of Wisconsin-Platteville) near the top in many statistical categories in the record books, including kills (3rd with 1,288), digs (6th with 793) and total blocks (6th with 208).
Rhoades completed her first year of playing eligibility at NCAA Div. II University of Wisconsin-Platteville before transferring.
Rhoades also teaches at Lyons Middle School, where she specializes in Language Arts for 8th graders and formerly Social Studies and Language Arts for 6th grade students.
Rhoades is also the co-Vice President of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters Clinton chapter and is a fitness instructor/personal trainer at the local YWCA in town.
Rhoades graduated from Ashford with her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education in the spring of 2009. She currently resides in Fulton, Ill.
