Ashford Women's Volleyball Camps
Micah Cewe Head Coach
Coach Micah Cewe begins his fourth year of coaching at Ashford University. As the Assistant Volleyball Coach for the 2004 season, Cewe helped the women maintain a winning season, improving their overall record to 16-14. Cewe also helped the Saints finish in a tight three-way tie for second place in the MCC, while successfully winning a postseason tournament game.
The Ashford volleyball team finished the 2005 season accumulating more wins than any other Saints' volleyball team. The Saints ended up with an overall record of 21-12 and finished third in the Midwest Classic Conference. Many awards were bestowed on the team including two NAIA All-Region VII players and five MCC All Conference Players. The team also picked up national attention in team statistical categories, by placing ninth in the nation with total kills per game (15.77) and twelfth in the nation with team hitting percentage (0.308). Individual players were also named as Conference and Regional players of the week as well.
